Nepal - Service & Cultural Exchange Tour

Dream Compassioneers team completed a seven-day service-learning journey in Nepal at late April 2025, focusing on humanitarian aid and cultural exchange. The trip began with a stop in Kunming, where they visited the historic National Southwestern Associated University, learning about resilience in education during wartime. In Nepal, the team engaged with key organizations, including Human Harmony Nepal, the Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS), and the Danish Red Cross, discussing collaborative service projects. We also visited The Orphans Home, delivering supplies and donation, also organizing interactive activities for children, leaving a heartfelt impact. Additionally, we visited the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, gaining insights into Sino-Nepalese development initiatives, including post-earthquake heritage restoration and educational exchanges. Members reflected on the importance of international service, with students leaders expressing deepened commitment to global humanitarian efforts.

Dream Compassioneers hopes to enrich the organizational and overseas-service-related experience of Hong Kong students, broadening their horizons and fostering well-rounded growth to nurture future servant leaders. To this end, we have organised various overseas service exchange tours with student participants.
